2012!

New Years Eve, Boston

Happy 2012, everyone!
... Am I too late in saying this?

Well, anyways! I'm just checking in on everyone,
letting you know I'm still here, and dreaming
of New England every single day. . .

It's also that time of year again where I start
brainstorming New England locations for my
annual summer vacation trip, and thought I'd
share with you my current top two choices:

1.

at the . . .

or...

2.

at the . . .

  1. i love both places. if you go to kennebunkport you can try the dueling restaurants for the best lobsta' roll! and you can drive to stonewall kitchens and ogunquit to visit the cutest candy store ever and maybe even hit the outlets and antique stores!

  2. I just love Tanglewood in the summer for an afternoon concert on the lawn. The 4th of July concert and fireworks there do not disappoint either. I would say The Red Lion Inn, Stockbridge with a concert at Tanglewood. The people watching is so much fun! You can get breakfast at Alice's Restaurant and check out the Rockwell Museaum.

  6. Hi Erin,
Oh, if you chose Kennebunkport, I could actually meet you in person! That would be great!
Happy New Year and hi to "Lola"! I feel like I know her now!

  7. I say Kennebunkport since you just went to the Vineyard recently. Maine is beautiful and you could do some other cool day trips if you are based in Kennebunkport.

  8. Hello Erin, and Happy New Year to you, as well! I love your idea of visiting Kennebunkport! Two weeks ago my LM was there for the day and he is now insisting that we go there for a romantic getaway sometime in the Spring. He just loved it. He was stationed near there in the air Force back in the 50's and hadn't seen it since. Actually, either place you have chosen will be wonderful.

  9. I love both places so I can't choose- but I'll look forward to your pics wherever you end up. And I agree with The Red Lion Inn in Stockbridge...we go there regularly and always stay for our anniversary. It's wonderful!
