Phooey! I wish we lived closer - one day we will be out to visit!
ReplyDeleteI too wish I lived closer. I too Love New England and grew up going there almost every summer. My grandparents lived in Salem and we drove all throughout Mass and some of NH. Love it and miss it.. Thanks for your blog and I look forward to visiting your blog again.
ReplyDeleteOh my! What fun! I've been to PTown many times, but have never been to this restaurant before (and I have a 20th anniversary coming up - what a total treat THIS would be)! My favorite restaurant... hmmm... Embers in Harwichport has the BEST coal-fired pizza! They even have a firepit outside... talk about ambience! As for seafood, Kreme N Kone in South Dennis is still my fav (and has been since I was a teenager)!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely offer!! I've been meaning to go to the Mews for YEARS and even recently had to cancel a reservation because of a family emergency.
ReplyDeleteThis place is always ranked as one of the top dining spots.
I love Ember in Harwichport, too....new.
The Lobster Pot in Provincetown is also wonderful----was just there last Saturday.
L'Alouette in Harwichport is consistantly amazing. Kreme and Cone in S. Dennis is a fave for seafood and the owners are wonderful.
Thanks, so much!
Hi Erin. I love your blog and just started following it. I love the Mews restaurant here in Provincetown as well as the history this town has to offer. I own the Revere Guest House here in Provincetown and of course I consider this a little bit of heaven here on the tip of cape cod. It is the best spot in New England and is where the Pilgrims first landed before going on to Plymouth. It is also the 100th year anniversary for the Pilgrim Monument.
ReplyDeleteThanks
Gary
How appropriate...I have long called MEWS my favorite restaurant in the world, hands down. Their martinis are out of this world, main dishes thoughtfully prepared, all flavors mesh wonderfully, and even desserts are a highlight. The staff there is always so welcoming and service perfect. Honestly I've never been able to ask for more.
ReplyDeleteOther New England favorites would be the fabulous Fore Street in Portland, ME and Havana in Bar Harbor. For a casual lunch with a gorgeous view, I like The Lady Killigrew Cafe at the Montague Bookmill (in the Berkshires area).
Great blog!!
Well I do live in Massachusetts and I've never been to Provincetown.
ReplyDeleteHot spots, huh? Well, I love having dinner at the Bedford Village Inn in Bedford, NH. And my favorite breakfast spot, hands down, is the Village Pancake House in Rowley, MA. Their cinnamon pancakes are too die for and the restaurant is in an old house, so charming.
My favorite towns? Probably Rockport, MA because it is so picturesque and there's lots to see and do or Camden, Maine for it's sheer beauty.
Oh I could go on forever!
Mmmmmm....did i tell you i finally made your mac and cheese? it was a huge hit!!!!
